Office Questions
Q. Is the office open?
A. Our receptionist is answering phones from 9am - 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am - 3pm on Fridays. Please leave a voicemail if you don't get a live person. A staff member will call you back as soon as possible.
Q. Is Dr. Gohel seeing patients?
A. Our office is conducting all well visits in office. For the safety of our patients and the staff, we are not seeing most sick patients physically in the office. Dr. Gohel will be meeting with all patients for Telemedicine visits via Doxy.me.
Q. How do I schedule my child's vaccines?
A. Unless otherwise specified, your child's Well Visit and vaccinations will be scheduled between 9am - 2:30pm for an in person visit.
Q. I need to come in to the office for a scheduled appointment. What now?
A. Once you arrive at our parking lot, please remain in your car and give the office a call at (703) 670-0300 to let us know of your arrival. We will call you back and let you know when to enter the office. Please wear a mask and bring your own pen to sign the sign in sheet. A staff member will take your and your child's temperature to determine that no fever is present and allow admittance into the office.
Q. I need a form to be filled out, how do I do that?
A. Give us a call and we will give you instructions on how to fax or email a form to us for completion. We will either fax or mail it back to you. In some cases, we are able to print forms online.
Telemedicine Questions
Q. What is a Telemedicine Visit?
A. A virtual visit is set up between the parent, patient and the doctor using electronic communication to provide clinical services to the patient without an inpatient visit.
Q. I need to speak with Dr. Gohel, how do I do that?
A. Please call our office at (703) 670-0300 to set up a telemedicine appointment. Within 5 minutes our your appointment, please log on to Dr. Gohel's private waiting room at: https://doxy.me/gohels. This link for for SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS ONLY.
Q. Does my child need to be present for the Telemedicine Visit?
A. YES, all telemedicine visits are treated exactly the same as in office patient visits. If your child will not be available, please reschedule your appointment. **PLEASE DO NOT BE DRIVING DURING THIS VISIT. For your safety, Dr. Gohel will immediately terminate the call and will be rescheduled for a later time.
Q. What happens if I log on without an appointment?
A. The virtual waiting room works in conjunction with our office staff and is only monitored when we know a patient will be "entering" it. If you choose to enter without an appointment, your virtual visit may go unanswered as there will be no one monitoring the room.
Well Visits/Vaccination Questions
Q. My child is due for their annual well visit. Will they be able to get one?
A. Yes! We are conducting these visits in person. Please complete the corresponding well visit form and email it to bcpdonotreply@gmail.com prior to your appointment. We has set aside Mondays and Saturdays specifically for our school aged patients.
Q. My child is due for vaccines. When will they get them? Won't they be delayed?
A. If your child gets delayed we will put them on a catch up schedule. Please be rest assured we will try our best to make sure your child receives their vaccinations in a timely manner. We are administering vaccines to everyone who is due in office.
Billing Questions
Q. Will I be charged my copay or deductible for a telemedicine visit?
A. Telemedicine visits are considered the same as an in office visit and will be subject to the parameters of your insurance plan. We recommend that you contact your insurance company for more information.
Q. How will my copay or deductible be collected?
A. Our receptionist will contact you the morning of your appointment to collect your copay or deductibe and process the payment via our Merchant Services terminal. If you need a copy of your receipt, it will be uploaded to the Patient Portal.
COVID 19 Questions
Q. What are the symptoms of COVID19/ the Corona Virus?
A. Symptoms may include fever, cough and shortness of breath. There is a Self Checker on the CDC website for guidance on making the decision to seek appropriate medical care. This system is not intended for the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other conditions, including COVID-19.

Q. I want my child to be tested for COVID 19. How do I do that?
A. Your healthcare provider at the time of your encounter (either via Telemedicine, Urgent Care or Emergency Room visit) will determine whether testing needs to be done. Testing sites in Prince William County can be found here.
Q. I think I may have COVID 19 or I have been confirmed for COVID 19. What should I do?
A. The Virginia Department of Health has the following guidelines found here. As always, exercise caution and self quarantine (stay at home,) follow good hygiene, wear a face mask.
